In this session, we will break down:

  • The four functions or ‘reasons’ behind behavior: Escape, Attention, Tangibles, and Automatic needs

  • How to use your daily observations and experiences to find patterns and plan ahead

  • How to meet your child where they are at to help them communicate their needs ahead of a crisis

  • Helpful strategies to use before triggers arise, and after escalation happens.​

We want to give you real-world tools and encouragement you need to view your child's needs compassionately, leaving you prepared to be a support.
